Meet Our Staff

Bishop Paul Holt is the State Bishop for the Church of God of Prophecy in Tennessee. Prior to serving in this role, he worked for 16 years for the Church of God of Prophecy International Offices in Cleveland, TN. At the International Offices, he served as the Executive Director of Finance & Administration, Corporate Board member, Executive Committee member, Stewardship Ministries Coordinator, Assembly Task Force Chairman, Global Missions Committee Chairman, and  Heritage Ministries Director. Before transitioning to the International Offices in 2007, he served as a lead pastor for almost 20 years. During his pastoral years, he served as a member of the TN Marriage Enrichment Board, the State Finance & Stewardship Committee, the Ministerial Review Board, TCBL Instructor, Youth Camp Director, State Men’s Ministries Director, and District Presbyter. Bishop Holt has undergraduate degrees in Business and Leadership and earned Master’s degrees in Theology and Business Administration. Bishop Holt and his wife Barbara are partners in life and ministry. They recently co-authored their first book, The Goldfish Principle. They have two sons and seven grandchildren. Tennessee is blessed to have Kim Batson as the State Director of Children’s Ministries and also the Camp Hickory Hills Camp Coordinator. Kim travels frequently to offer excellent children’s ministry training to local churches, regional trainings, and international trainings. She coordinates 5 summer camps for ages 5-18 and a camp workers training which equips leaders to serve.

Austin is a proud husband to his wife, Marisa, and father to his daughter, Eden. Austin has served as the Youth and Young Adult Pastor since 2021 at Spring Place Church in Cleveland, Tennessee. Prior to that, he served in multiple areas of youth and young adult ministries for over five years. Austin graduated with a B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies from Lee University in 2021, and plans to pursue a master’s degree in counseling.  Austin loves spending his free time with family and friends enjoying the great outdoors.

Glynis Varlack Allgood currently serves as Music and Administrative Pastor for the Bellshire Ministries Church of God of Prophecy in northern Nashville, TN.  She has been actively involved in church music for 38+ years in multiple capacities from worship leader to band director.  She offers a unique style of keyboarding that mixes contemporary, gospel and traditional styles, and she believes in leading worship by example and with excellence. Glynis has been singing since age 2 and has participated in and lead workshops on vocal technique and performance.  She also serves as Worship Ministries Coordinator for the Churches of God of Prophecy in TN.  www.tnworshipministries.com. She travels and ministers in Worship and the Word in various parts of the United States and has been featured as Worship Leader during the International Assembly of the Church of God of Prophecy.  She enjoys music and ministry and enjoys sharing life with God’s people. Glynis has a daughter, Noelle, who sings and plays 5 instruments and often leads worship with Mom.  Noelle is currently pursuing a Music and Worship degree from Lee University in Cleveland, TN.
