
Presiding State Bishop of Tennessee
Bishop E.C. McKinley is the State Overseer of the Church of God of Prophecy in the State of Tennessee (U.S.A.) He oversees churches and ministers and develops leadership- training materials for the local churches.
McKinley attended public schools in his hometown of Evansville, Indiana until becoming an active member of the United States Army. There he served as a Military Policeman, and then a Criminal Investigator for six years. He also served as a commissioned Deputy Sheriff and worked four years as a Police Chaplain.
McKinley holds undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Theology and earned Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Theology and a Ph.D. in Christian Education.
McKinley has served three churches as senior pastor, fully involved in radio, television and print ministry in each of these cities. He was appointed as the Regional Overseer of the Northwest Territories (U.S.A.) where he served for four years. In 2002, McKinley was appointed to serve the Mid-America Region (U.S.A.) for two years. In 2004, McKinley as appointed to serve as the State Overseer of Tennessee (U.S.A.) where he continues to serve at present.
