We affirm that the Triune Godhead is Creator and Lord of the universe,
humankind, the Kingdom of God and the Church (Colossians 1:15-20).
We affirm that the Triune Lord chose to reveal Himself to humankind through the revelatory process―the Living Word, which produced the canonical Word (the Bible) in order to direct humankind in spiritual and temporal affairs (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
We affirm that the redemptive plan of the Godhead is fulfilled through the salvific manifestation of the Incarnation and that salvation is only through Christ Jesus (Acts 4:12).
We affirm that the importance of the Gospel is “. . . that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4 NIV).
We affirm our commitment to the commission of the Lord Jesus:
“ . . . As the Father has sent me, I am sending you” (John 20:21 NIV). This is vital to our purpose of existence, and its very nature contains the core values of prayer, harvesting, and the development of biblical leadership. Inclusive in our Lord’s commission is the renewal movement with its emphasis on creation and re-creation of which world evangelization is a vital aspect.
We affirm that it is vital for God’s leaders to have a Ministerial Credo (belief) that affirms in whom they believe (2 Timothy 1:12) and in what they believe (1 Timothy4:15).
We affirm that biblical leadership is not a born process but a making/forming process that produces disciples from which leadership develops (2 Timothy 2:2).
We affirm that a godly heart and character is always at the heart of biblical
leadership (Proverbs 4:23).
We affirm our commitment (by practical and advanced studies) to equipping and enhancing the noble work of the pastor/teacher ministry that shepherds the flock of God (1 Peter 5:2-3).
We affirm our commitment to enhance and equip the apostolic ministry of
inspirational leadership as “Leader of Leaders” to lead from stature and not just from office positioning (Ephesians 4:11-13).
We affirm that the “round table” of inspired plurality leadership is biblical and commit our persons and resources to be living examples of such a ministry style (Acts 15:22-29).
We affirm that the commission of our Lord includes, “I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor” (John 4:38 NIV). We are committed to honoring our Lord’s mandate without any ethnic preference or patronizing concepts, but recognizing and blessing indigenous leadership.
We affirm our total dependence on the guidance of the Holy Spirit to be our Comforter and guide to lead us from penultimate truth into ultimate truth (John 16:12-13).
We affirm that “. . . from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen” (Romans 11:36 NIV).
