The Church of God of Prophecy Chaplaincy Ministries Department will be conducting twelve (12) hours of Chaplaincy Training July 25-26, 2010 prior to the General Assembly in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The seminar will be held in the Sheraton Hotel, Greensboro, North Carolina beginning at 3:00 P. M. on Sunday, July 25th and will end at 9:00 P. M. Monday, July 26th.

This course is designed for chaplains, pastors, ministers and church workers who are serving their communities as chaplains or who are interested in a chaplaincy program for their local community. This year’s classes would definitely benefit anyone involved in pastoral ministry whether or not interested in the chaplaincy.
This year’s training will focus on the ministry of the chaplain and their various roles as spiritual leader and moral advisor and will be taught by imminently qualified chaplains.
Chaplain Tom Glisson, Pastoral Care Director for Trident Health System, Health Corporation of America, Charleston, SC, and certified with the Association of Professional Chaplains, will teach 6 hours of classes on Chaplain As Moral and Ethical Advisor and As Pastoral Counselor.
Chaplain (LTC) Jerry Moates, retired US Army Chaplain, will teach 4 hours of classes on Chaplain As Spiritual Leader and As Leader of Worship and Study.
Dr. Douglas R. Stephenson, Director, Chaplaincy Ministries, will teach a 2 hour class on Chaplain As Spiritual Priest to Their Own Family.
