Update on Isaac Tinch

On August 14, 2010 I sent out a special prayer request for Isaac Tinch, whose family are members of our church at Rickman, Tennessee. The prognosis was grave as he was life-flighted to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital to be treated for severe blunt-force trauma to his head. The situation was grave and the doctors, nurses and technicians work around the clock to treat him. Their efforts were heroic as usual…yet, the prayers of the saints went up from around the world.

Today, I visited with Isaac and his family and learned of his pending release. Tomorrow is his birthday, and it appears he will be able to spend it with his family at home. I watched as he walked, talked and interacted with his family and the staff. As I anointed him with oil and prayed for him, he smiled and seems to be on his way to a total recovery.

His parents are so thrilled, as are we.

Thank you to all of those who prayed for Isaac, and I ask that you continue to pray. We are part of a wonderful family!
