Bishop Paul Holt is the State Bishop for the Church of God of Prophecy in Tennessee. Prior to serving in this role, he worked for 16 years for the Church of God of Prophecy International Offices in Cleveland, TN. At the International Offices, he served as the Executive Director of Finance & Administration, Corporate Board member, Executive Committee member, Stewardship Ministries Coordinator, Assembly Task Force Chairman, Global Missions Committee Chairman, and Heritage Ministries Director. Before transitioning to the International Offices in 2007, he served as a lead pastor for almost 20 years. During his pastoral years, he served as a member of the TN Marriage Enrichment Board, the State Finance & Stewardship Committee, the Ministerial Review Board, TCBL Instructor, Youth Camp Director, State Men’s Ministries Director, and District Presbyter.
Bishop Holt has undergraduate degrees in Business and Leadership and earned Master’s degrees in Theology and Business Administration.
Bishop Holt and his wife Barbara are partners in life and ministry. They recently co-authored their first book, The Goldfish Principle. They have two sons and seven grandchildren. They recently co-authored their first book, The Goldfish Principle.
