This past Tuesday, Debra and I were privileged to share a meal in Crossville, Tennessee with the pastors and companions of the Plateau District churches. Whenever we share these times, it is a great time of fellowship and sharing of information. I have watched as we’ve conducted these meetings across the state year after year and the richness of the fellowship is evident and the desire to work together as local churches have grown. This is the third of our meetings in 2014 and we are looking forward to the rest of the state.
Thanks to Dr. Freddie Harding the District Presbyter for helping to secure the location and provide the necessary preparations. Debra and I enjoyed spending the night at their home in Spencer.
The next day, Wednesday, we met again with the group of pastors, companions and church treasurers to conduct a training session for the new SharePoint system being used by all levels of church leadership. Special thanks to Brother and Sister Todd Bagley for a nice lunch preceding the class.
We are blessed to work with such wonderful people in Tennessee!
