Empowered Ministries – Dickson, TN
Mike Jennette, Senior Pastor

I want to thank everyone who came, worked and acted at our Passion play. Over 500 people came to our little Church and many lives were given for salvation and others proclaimed to be a better Christian from this day forward. Rhonda and I love you all!

Turtletown, Tennessee Church of God of Prophecy
Barry Lee, Senior Pastor

Attendance was up, 72 were counted present in our 90 seat sanctuary. Parking lot was more than full. Service was power packed. I preach my Easter Sermon and opened the doors of membership: 22 people join the Church this morning with at least 4 more asking to do so later. One young man gave his heat to the Lord at the end of service. He rededicated himself to God from a life of addiction. This has been a Sunday I’ll never forget. Our Church only had 18 on roll when we examined it a last week. Today the Turtletown Church more than doubled in membership! Praise God! Praise God! Praise God! Not to mention our morning off was over $800.00! And we started a building project to add an 8X10 addition on to the Church, a Handicapped/Family Restroom and Hallway so that people wouldn’t have to walk in front of the Church to go to the facilities. Brother Mckinley, you and yours are welcome to visit us and see what’s going on.

Gallatin, Tennessee Church of God of Prophecy
Windell Moore, Senior Pastor

Just got home from revival at the Gallatin Church of God of Prophecy. Evangelist Johnny Carver brought a powerful word (he has every time I’ve heard him preach) and folks were blessed. The revival ends tomorrow night.

Pastors, I encourage you to schedule Brother Johnny Carver for a revival, he is an anointed, God-called evangelist . It was good to be with District Presbyter F. Leon Graves and Sister Fay, along with Pastor Larry D Meadors, Jr. (aka Danté). Pastor Windell Moore and Myrna Hill Moore do such a great job at everything they put their hand to and we are blessed to have them in Tennessee.

Camp Hickory Hills, Get Real Girls Retreat

We are so thrilled to hear all of the good reports coming in from across Tennessee about the girls retreat that was held last weekend. The staff did an absolutely wonderful job of ministering to the young ladies that registered and attended, and they helped to make them feel special…because they are!

We face new challenges in the 21st Century, but we are up to the task of instilling the principles and precepts of God’s Word into their lives. In a proper cultural context, we minister to them where they are at…not an imaginary world…hence the title, GET REAL. We believe in the youth and children of our church and are committed to reaching this young harvest all around us.
