Notice to Pastors and Congregations of Tennessee
Rom 16:17-18

“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”

I am saddened there is a need for me to post the following correspondence from our North American Presbyter. I am aware of this, and that some of our pastors have been contacted. I am trusting none of our congregations will be deceived or taken advantage of by former overseers, and I encourage you to refrain from having this minister preach in our pulpits. It is indeed unfortunate that people who leave the Church of God of Prophecy feel it necessary to make our churches their mission field instead of reaching out to the countless millions of lost people.
Please read the correspondence from Bishop Clements:

Once again it seems necessary to send a reminder regarding the status of Boonyong Bureenok. We have received information here at the International Offices again this week that Boon is still making contacts with our North America pastors and congregations.

Boonyong Bureenok Appeals

Boonyong Bureenok, former overseer of Thailand, was involved in an extended discipline process and was removed as Field Secretary of Thailand by the General Presbyter of Asia/Oceania, Bishop David Browder, in consultation with the body of Asia overseers in June 2008. He was not appointed to any leadership position at the 95th International Assembly. He holds no license with the Church and is no longer associated with us in any official capacity. Any fundraising appeals by Boonyong Bureenok are not authorized by the International Office since he has no accountability to our leadership or the International Office. It is our understanding that he is now with another group and is representing their activities.
Feel free to contact Bishop Browder (who is serving as overseer of Thailand and is seeking to revitalize our work there) or the International Offices if you have further questions.

Please be sure all of your pastors are again made aware and reminded of the status of Booneyong Bureenok with the Church of God of Prophecy.
